At approximately 6:30 am on Wednesday 23 January 2013, Israeli naval
vessels patrolling the Gaza sea opened fire on Palestinian fishing boats
off the coast west of Al Waha resort—near the maritime border—northwest
of Beit Lahiya, North Gaza district. The sporadic fire lasted for
about 15 minutes. No casualties or injuries were reported
